Ingredients: Organic Mint Puerh (Pu-erh?), Organic Morrocan Mint

Aroma: Dry Tea smells like a stick of spearmint gum. After steep tea smells like, melted and chewed mint gum - in a good way? Ha!

Packaging: Packaged in a material that is biodegradable lined with plastic.

Tea Leaf Quality: Deep green leaf flakes.

Taste:  Very very yummy. I tasted the mint, again tasted like good gum, and I tasted the green-ness of the tea, does that make sense? Yes, I am deciding it does. The good thing about the tea is the aftertaste it leaves in your mouth, my husband said my breath smelled great! Not a compliment I get often - wait that doesn't sound right - I mean to say I eat lots of garlic.. hmm. Back to the tea, it was nice and refreshing, just what I needed after having a stomach bug for so long. Still fighting the bug, so I will probably go down to 1 tea tasting a day, I am trying to take it easy - and you would think tea is the perfect thing to drink with an upset stomach - you would be wrong about my stomach.

This stomach flu has been kicking my bum! Every time I try and taste some tea, I can't. My meds end tomorrow, I promise to be back to tea tasting/loving/obsessing when I feel better!

Miro Tea: Earl Grey de la Creme

Steep time: 2-3 minutes


Ingredients: from website -Whole leaf black tea, vanilla, and bergamot flavor.

Aroma: Dry Tea smells like a creamy vanilla sugar and bergamot. Smells very very good, but we all know I am a little bias with my earl grey.... After a 3 minute steep it smelled like fresh earl grey tea, as it if were picked and mixed in front of me. The bergamot is strong, the vanilla even stronger. Bliss in a cup.

Packaging: Packaged in resealable aluminum bag, with a dome bottom making it easy to store as it stands on it's own. The aluminum leaves the inside of the bag dark, which makes for a great fresh bag.

Tea Leaf Quality: Large tea leaves, they look and feel high quality.

Taste:  Delicious. The vanilla is a perfect mate for the bergamot. These two flavors are in wedded bliss in my cup, I taste both, very clearly-which is important because sometimes with these two flavors one is muted. Not here, they are both in there and yelling my name .. yeah. There are a few types of bergamot flavoring I have had, anywhere from sweet to burnt, I would say this flavoring is perfect, it's fresh, and just sweet enough, but also just citrusy enough. YUM.

I added fat free french vanilla for fun - and boy was it fun.

Harney & Sons: Vanilla Comoro

Steep time: 4-5 minutes


Ingredients: from website -Vanilla notes swirl in each sip of this tasty decaffeinated black tea enhanced by creamy vanilla from Comoros Islands. I could not find a more detailed list.

Aroma: Dry Tea smells like vanilla beans. I adore vanilla, so I wanted to just jump right in the bag. After steep, tea smells like butter cream vanilla frosting, the smell is to DIE for. I want to fill my bath tub up with this stuff and just let it seep into every pore... moving on..

Packaging: Packaged in resealable black bag, which is good for the tea, tea lasts longer and stays fresher in dark packaging. On website tea is available in triangle fiber bags, the best quality tea bags, and stored in a very pretty light creamy yellow tin, or bag, or you can buy it loose. I would personally buy it by the ton...

Tea Leaf Quality: Large tea leaves, they look and feel (and smell, oh the smell...) fresh.

Taste:  My taste buds were dancing, and singing. This tastes fantastic. It's a beautiful vanilla explosion. Just creamy and sweet but not fake sweet, a real sweet. Just so good. If it were caffeinated I would trade in my London Fog in a heartbeat, a hummingbird heartbeat. Now I have Katy Perry stuck in my head.


Side Note: Because I wanted my taste buds to explode, I added vanilla creamer and honey, the end result was fantastic, it really brought out the warmer notes in the tea.

Aroma: Dry tea smells strongly of green tea and cherries. Once steeped tea smells like a sweet cherry green tea. Smells very good.

Packaging: Packaged in resealable black bag, which is good for the tea, tea lasts longer and stays fresher in dark packaging. On website tea is available in triangle fiber bags, the best quality tea bags, and stored in a very pretty pink tin.

Tea Leaf Quality: Large tea leaves, they look and feel fresh.

Taste:  Tastes like a perfect mix of green tea and cherry. The cherry flavor was delightful, it was delicate yet full of flavor. I have never been a fan of flavored green tea, but Harney & Sons does it well. It was nice, it was relaxing, it was exactly what I needed before bed. And it left my mouth feeling fresh. I did not need to use honey or creamer, it was great on it's own.

I love chickens and roosters (hey I am a country girl at heart!) and I love this sassy rooster. 

La Creme Coffee & Tea: Devon's Heaven

Steep time: 1-3 minutes


Ingredients: from website - "Low-caffeinated & detoxifying Green, White & Oolong teas.  Allergy fighting healthy herbs including Rooibos, Lemon Grass & more. Tasty fruits: raspberries & apples. Refreshing all-natural pomegranate, Mango & Blueberry flavors.  Sweetened with just a touch of all-natural Stevia."

Aroma: Dry tea smells fruity and fresh. I smell lemon, raspberries and apple - amazing. After steep I smell a muted fruity scent with more of a green tea smell, very tempting.

Packaging: Packaged in resealable black bag that has a dome bottom so it stands on it's own.

Tea Leaf Quality: large tea leaves, pieces of fruit. After steeping the leaves are the most impressive I have seen. Beautiful.

Taste:  Tastes like a perfect mix of green tea and fruit. Taste's natural and it really does taste heavenly. I enjoyed this tea, and I have a personal antidote. I had this tea Friday, my husband got very sick Friday night. Saturday night I got a little sick, but felt better by Sunday, husband is still not feeling well. We were both exposed to the same stomach bug. I praise Devon's Heaven for keeping me feeling well quicker.
